250m. Ascend the Peigne Couloir until about 100m below the Col du Peigne. Locate a deep chimney on the Pelerins side. Climb the spur to the left of the chimney for two pitches and continue leftwards to a terrace. Follow this towards the SW Ridge via a system of slanting cracks until the breche on the Grutter Ridge is gained.
