Hong Kong Rock Description
38m. The eye-catching corner (and precariously perched flake) provides quality climbing. The route is named after an ancient Italian civilisation distinguished by its unique language, an apt name for a corner line amongst a sea of slab climbing!
1) 4a - 10m - 5 Bolts. Stride up easy ground to follow a ramp left towards the obvious square-cut corner.
2) 6a+ - 17m - 8 Bolts. Climb the steep corner and easy slab to a spacious ledge.
3) 6a+ - 11m - 8 Bolts. Move up rightwards from the belay and into the open corner. Follow the steep corner to a ram's horn style lower-off. Lower back down to the bolt belay on the ledge (first pitch of Ocean of Emotion) then abseil off. © Hong Kong Rock
