Led P2, 5. Climbed in 5 pitches as in Morocco Rock guidebook.

More like a classic severe

Disappointing with lots of scrambling. A 5-pitch Severe with a couple of 4c moves does not make a 3* VS.

Moved together for the first half then some major faff ensued when I dropped my belay plate. Pitched it to the top. Some good bits.

Led 1st & did in 6 pitches. Pitch 1 is just a scramble. Shortcuted from belay 2 ('Partytime Belay') to belay just before overhang & 'Snoggers Perch' due to drag at step right & left just below. Guidebook pitch 8 is a walk up a grassy gully and breaks the climbing. A nice easy VS, but not Top 50. [Jen Maxfield & Julian Sorrell following as pair]. Scramble up & rightwards once finished then follow cairns down to road. Had time for a route on Ksar Rock after.

Awesome mountain day out! Scrambled the first pitch, making it 4 pitches of actual climbing. I led 1 and 3, Sam led 2 and 4 (and probably the harder pitches to be honest!)

impressive rock face, sustained climbing with the crux on 5th pitch negotiating an overhang. walk back is improved now as we built more cairns.

stevelismore 08/Mar/14 AltLd O/S

Done in 5 pitches. I led the 4c Pitch 3 and Maia got the airy 4c at Pitch 6. Unlike the prickly trails we had to follow down from other routes the descent was straightforward-so a great day all round.

Led even pitches 2,4,6 etc - nothing difficult but crux on pitch six was nicely 'airy'. Oh, and if you find a key for a Renault Symbol somewhere on the climb, it's mine - rescue from the valley took almost as long as the climb itself...

kim.mulji 05/Mar/14 AltLd O/S

Great climb. Led odd pitches, though belayed just above hard problem on the last pitch due to rope drag, and partner led easier ground up. Descent straightforward and not too hard (down in an hour) in the light, though might be a bit harder to find the way (marked by Cairns) in the dark. Got back to car to find we had lost the car keys though. Had to be rescued from the valley back to Tafroute!

Not as good as the guide makes out, but still worth doing

Lovely climb, nice and relaxing VS with short approach and descent, and only two technical pitches which are not very sustained.

A good long route with interest all the way up, especially the "climb steeply" section :-)

A great line but not a *** climb. Too much scrambling at the bottom and top, but the middle bits are good, and in great positions. Pitch 3 is 4c. The guide needs some careful interpretation

Good day out with some great exposure. Route finding was made a great deal easier when the guys that done the first accent were on the route next door.

Easy route up a great cliff. Particularly liked the final pitch through the edge of the arch.

Went a bit off route. Scary overhang about halfway up, needed to prussik up after coming off.
