Climbing in the quarry was historically banned by the landowner. However, parts of the surrounding land and some of the rock face are now mapped as Open Access land.

Description taken from John Nixon`s "Limestone Climbs in South West England" 1964.An amusing low level traverse.At the right-hand of the Oak Tree Wall,just before the rocks become set back from the road is a small hawthorn 3m`s up.Start below this.1.Climb up to the hawthorn and traverse left to join the Crooked start off Oak Tree Direct.Follow this until it joins the original start.Then continue left to join the rake of Oak Tree Wall.Descend the rake...Not presently climbable.
