120m, 4 pitches.

Rockfax Description
This excellent variation follows the steeper rib to the left of Albahida. The main three pitches are well bolted, but a few wires are needed for the first pitch unless you are happy soloing it. 1) 3. As for Albahida. 2) 5. Climb direct above the stance to a belay ledge.
3) 5. Move left and follow the line up a rib.
4) 5. One more pitch leads to an abseil point. Abseil off, or continue up into Albahida. © Rockfax

Led first two pitches. Good climbing with great views. Faf of an abseil due to ropes getting into a fantangle

Brilliant route, nice and sustained at the grade, but never too hard to be enjoyable. I led pitches 1 and 3. Finished up Albahida - had intended to ab off but only had a 70m single rope and the last 2 pitches were closer to 40m. So didn't have a change of footwear and had to descend in rock shoes! Took the 'descent 2' option down the slope beneath Cara Oeste, which was hideous and took well over an hour, rather than the guidebook 35 minutes - avoid at all costs!

Led 2nd pitch - great route, with some great climbing - really nice. Ab-ed off from the third pitch though - shame as top pitch looked great. Mate wanted off.

wondered between this route and albahida. also wondered off onto a boltless line with no trad gear - not a good idea as i completely shat myself. then some time later a soloer went past us! did 8 pitches in total. the hardest move i would put at 6a. really hard for a 5 in my opinion. scramble to the summit after climbing is awesome, such a nice feeling once you finally get there.

Wondered between this and Albahida. I rested on the 5th pitch but apart from that was clean. Lead first pitch and odd ones thereafter, had to belay midway up the penultimate pitch because the line of bolts ran out. Took about 7 hours.
