The first of the big routes at this end of the cliff is a stunning, bold and committing lead. Start right of the corner of 'Goad', below an open scoop. Climb the scoop then move up a crack leftwards to a slim roof. Pull back right to a chunky flake and follow the scoop above on good holds. Where they run out, gird your loins and head for the break with some haste. Move 3m left and pull up a crack in the upper wall. Continue past a hole and step left into an easy finishing groove. © ROCKFAX
