Rockfax Description
An intimidating but classic testpiece requiring a forthright approach. Battle up the steep, wide crack using a variety of jams and face holds. © Rockfax

FA. J Hesketh, H Tinkler 1962, one of the first routes to be climbed on the crag and certainly the hardest route in the valley for its day, a superb achievement..

βeta: Every bit as awful as it looks and pretty much ungradeable. The climbing is eminently unsuitable for the standard human physiology of two limbs on each side of the body. 1 star for the line, though.
