Shooting Star*** E4 6b

Rockfax Description
11m. The classic line of the crag and one of the best routes in the valley, high in the grade. Follow the rightward trending crack line past an annoying rose bush to reach a TR press on with dwindling footholds to a PR beneath a bulge, pull over this and follow the still taxing groove to the top. © ROCKFAX

Ryan had replaced threads, led straight off today after punting it a few years back. Safe, tough, and brilliant!

rested on the o/s, backed up the in-situ gear, pruned the rose! and then led it. Peg and thread need replacing, but got good rocks 1 and 2 between the hand-jam slot and the thread. Great moves.
