The Atomic Finger Flake** E4 6a
[Atomic Finger Flake, Tremadog, Boris Hannon and Ian Parsons. 1981., 3 kb]

Rockfax Description
A very hard move guards the flake. Start up Void pitch 1 and move right below the overhang. Climb a tricky thin groove on the right to a niche, and high gear above. Some desperate moves back left may lead to the overhanging hand-crack which, despite appearances, is a push-over compared to the moves to gain it. Belay below the Void pod. Finish any way you wish. © ROCKFAX

Led P1 on slab, 2nd P2 & 3. Done with Void top pitch to make a simply brilliant route. The sequence to the finger flake is very good and I was blown away by the Void top pitch: one of the very best E4s around. I found the initial pod / crack section of this tough: my technical inadequacies well-exposed here. Thought crux was though straightforward. A perfect pitch.
ksjs - 2nd O/S - 13/May/11 with Radek

powerful traverse.
Ed Booth - Lead O/S - 04/Mar/11

Wild beast! Done in 1 pitch. Committing to the undercuts felt super steep and go-ey but well protected to the resting ledge. First E4 for a while, felt good to be on steep pumpy trad again!
