The whole Eglwyseg escarpment is both a Site Of Special Scientific Interest and an European designated Special Area Of Conservation. This means that any deliberate or reckless damage or disturbance to the features of the site (inc. to nesting birds, vegetation clearance or drilling) could be regarded as a criminal act.
Rockfax Description
A great route with a delicate start and an exciting finish through the widest part of the overlap. There is good gear just when you need it. © Rockfax

βeta: Death flake had had hairline crack on lefthand side, pulled on block at base and it all came out. Route harder and probably less good at 5c, perhaps E3 too? Keyed in wire above obvious wire crack should give some comfort. | βeta?

βeta: The flake halfway up the slab to the roof is loose and moving, would be a bad one if it came off, probably best not to place gear behind it! | βeta?
