Rawhide 7a
[me on rawhide at ansteys cove, 3 kb]12m. "An uninspiring line" is how the guide describes it. The old bolts mentioned have been replaced (although for some reason the lower-off is currently two petzls with no maillons ... swing left to the lower-off of the Lynch which has maillons to lower off). Not a much-travelled route and has some suspect rock but the holds are all there.

Onsight attempt ended above 3rd bolt after flailing about trying to find a dry hold over the roof. Not a sensible proposition after rain...

Got it second go. First sport route - thought I'd be on the 7bs very quickly. Another twenty years before I lead another 7a.
