Interrogation Superdirect >>
[Interrogation, 4 kb]2 pitches. A brilliant climb taking the full height of the central wall. often done as a single pitch. 1) 6a. Thin grooves gain a horizontal break where a difficult move left and up gains the larger curving groove. At its top a strenuous traverse left accesses a belay in Raven Gully. 2) 5c. Move back right and stand on the knobbly small ledge. Technical moves away from this rightwards are rewarded with easier climbing to the summit. © ROCKFAX

One fall at the crux from missing the big foot hold. One rest at the overhang working out where to go. Incredible varied route.

Hidden - 2013

Well worth its 3 stars.
kingholmesy - Lead O/S - 2013 with Colin

A bit mossy but very good. Felt bold moving up to the horizontal break above the first peg.
Ed Babs - Lead O/S - 19/Aug/12 with Mike Hawkins

Onsight bar having photographed others on it, no discernibly useful beta gained! Massively tired before I started, felt right at my limit all the way, 3 hour epic involving traversing to the raven belay to pull up more gear before spending a *long* time committing to the final headwall.
Justin T - Lead - 11/Aug/12 with Crispin

Glad to second this one! Felt hard for E3. Continuous, sustained dificulties. I thought the crux was the initial wall. Brian led it in one pitch.

is a lovely route :) matt did it in one pitch and the climbing is great and pritty hard with to hard thin moves.
Jordon Fleming - 2nd O/S - 09/Apr/12 with matt

An awesome route - my first 6a trad lead. Found it hard going, did it in onepitch and suffered with rope drag. Climbing is all well protected if you have faith in pegs. Have to come back and lead it clean.

dominic lee - Lead O/S - 15/Oct/11 with nathan lee

freaked out in a feeble manner on the traverse to the 1st belay.
Jonathan Emett - 2nd dog - 03/Oct/11 with toby

I'm told conditions were a bit greasy, but this was desperate - not sure how it's E3 yet!
Stone Muppet - TR dog - 01/Oct/11 with bc, md

Well I tried! Got to the thin move left before falling off (after very tough starting wall) and then had a few more rests before taking a good lob off the awkward move standing on the block. Thin runout finish too, overall very tough for E3 but I might just be rusty.....great climb though just wish I'd got it clean!
Chad123 - AltLd dog - 09/Aug/11 with Emily

Totally brilliant, totally covered in lichen.
i_a_coops - Lead O/S - 08/Aug/11

I came, i climbed, i dogged. Worse, i stood on the ledge pumped to oblivion and a bit scared asked for a top rope. The shame.

Ground up, second go - fell at the first peg trying to go too direct, lowered off then got right back on it. Should have warmed up. Crux felt 6a to me, but it was a bit greasy. Had to belay off to the left before going through the overlap due to lack of draws and serious drag. Was a good call - the belay at the top is further off right and would have made it sketch to belay the second well through the balancy moves and traverses. Excellent climbing all through! Quality route.
jacobjlloyd - Lead - 30/Sep/10 with Dougie

In one pitch. One of the best single pitch trad routes I've done - quite a journey!
