don't lean right until very late on if you're short. stay in the crack until after the obvious hand ledge. Took a whipper from after the crux (according to my partner) then dogged up the rest. Should have trusted my own reading, hang off the crack until a bit after 2/3 length then get your feet in it.

Abbed in to a rough swell, so went to this as it had the highest ledge, started up and thought the sea spray was pretty heavy, turned out it had started raining! Still felt steady though I kept my hands in the crack pretty much all the way, so I could keep putting gear in. Hard HVS/soft E1? Brilliant climbing all the way.

Was wet all the way up, and felt desperately pumpy! Got on it as a warm down after Kitten Claws and it slapped me in the face. Might be easier dry, things often are, but the combination of no left footholds and big moves on wet jams had me pretty exhausted by the end. Really safe, really sustained, no reason not to get on it! A memorable and enjoyable outing.

Excellent route on a perfect sunny day. Nicely technical but never too hard or pumpy. Just a bit awkward to place gear - but there's loads of gear on it if you want it. And there are footholds, you just need to look for them!
