The route starts aproximately 30ft to the right of shortys folly at the base of the main crag and climbs directly up the face to the base of the monastery. The climbing will improve with traffic but was very overgrown with brambles at the base and moss at the top.
The route climbs an initial wall for 10-12ft onto a grassy ledge, the route continues directly above in the middle of a buttress following a natural channel and flutting to the ledge above (crux). The route then climbs a crack system above to the buttress of the monastery wall.
Initially unsure weather to grade VS or HS as gear was sparse.
(Was origanaly climbed several years ago 1995-2000 along with a number of other lines on the rock, unsure if this is a new route.)
