Ice was not fully formed from base of route up into the gully. Probably made the route a little harder. Not much gear and first peg must have been placed by a giant. Brittle ice made the first pitch was quite scary. Abbed off dodgy peg and let Ed lead us up. Once into the gully the route keeps entertaining. Brilliant route!tech - AltLd - 03/Dec/10 with Ed Luke

Climbed in full on sunshine, blue sky, no wind - is this a first?! The initial ice pitch included a Damoclean style icicle that required care. The chockstone pitch was a doddle by comparison.
