Ice was not fully formed from base of route up into the gully. Probably made the route a little harder. Not much gear and first peg must have been placed by a giant. Brittle ice made the first pitch was quite scary. Abbed off dodgy peg and let Ed lead us up. Once into the gully the route keeps entertaining. Brilliant route!

Climbed in full on sunshine, blue sky, no wind - is this a first?! The initial ice pitch included a Damoclean style icicle that required care. The chockstone pitch was a doddle by comparison.
