170m, 4 pitches. Start 100m. to the right of the previous routes below a broad ice groove, well seen from below. 1) 60m. Climb the groove to a broad ledge. 2) 30m. Traverse right and climb a shallow chimney to ledges then up right to belay below an excellent ice runnel. 3) 30m. The runnel to belay on a block on the right. 4) 50m. Easier climbing to the top. Variation: A steep icefall often forms to the left of pitch two and is reach by traversing left after the shallow chimney. Recommended if in condition and technical grade 4. © ROCKFAX
