130m. 400m. left of Birkett's Gully are gullies leading up from right to left. There is an obvious cleft. Climb up this chimney up and exit after 12m. Continue up the easier line of ice and snow gullies above to finish below the cairn on Mardale Ill Bell. © ROCKFAX
