[Starting out on Curving Gully, 3 kb]60m. The obvious chimney/gully, bounding the Left hand side of the main buttress. Follow easy snow for several pitches until a bay is reached with a steep ice pitch ahead. Avoid the ice pitch by following the left fork and climbing steep snow/turf rightwards to arrive at the top of the steep ice pitch. A further pitch of easy snow leads to the top. © ROCKFAX

Hidden - Solo dnf - 18/Feb/14

No snow on approach to crags until the bowl above the tarn. Snow a bit soggy at the bottom of the route, but improved with height. Took steeper exit from the bay. Top slopes scoured so no risk. Gullys top outs further east looked loaded. Pleasant first route of the season!
