The crag looked really wintery with fair amount of rime but we found out quick that the turf just had an ice crust! Enjoyed the route, although we topped out 5pm due to a late start following backing off Sledgate Ridge.

Great route, getting better with height. Soft snow low down, with not much gear. Conditions improved where it mattered on the chimney to the pinnacle and the pitch above.
