worth while with 2 small interesting bits of frozen ice and turf. Shame it finished so quickly

Robs first climb. We took an unlisted variation about half way up the gully on the butress at about grade II,3 (we took an avoidable overhang / step nr the top). Turf was not well frozen throughout in the bottom of the gully although there was fair amount of snow so you didn't need it. The turf on the butress variation was frozen.

Just went to have a look initially but looked in good nick so went for it. Frozen turf and rock mainly, no real ice about, good outing.

colder today and "moses back door" doesn't look good. Again great views from Great Gable summit and completely alone.
