On jamie's gear - i had previously attempted but missed the crucial foot beta and tried to make it a lot harder for myself.. today it was very very easy probably because we'd been bouldering and so the hold felt huge!

Really nice route with a distinct variation in climbing style between the start of the route and the crack. Backed off the lower crack as it was wet (OK, dmap), lowered off my gear and went ground up. Take a couple of #3 friends (#2 Camalots), if you'd rather not run out the top of the crack. Gulp!

Great route. Not worth the 5b, and probably not the top-end HVS in the graded list that it gets in the new rockfax. There are about 4 5a moves though and the bottom half is pumpy, and the start of the crack would be desperate if you couldnt jam. Mid-high HVS 5a maybe. Superb route.
