First lead of the year. A bit jittery, which wasn't helped by all the polish. Never felt secure on the whole route, some moves should have been great but were ruined by it. Would not recommend this route. At least there's loads of gear though.

First ever trad lead after seconding it last week. Had plenty of pro with just a set of nuts and some slings. But did have a rest on the U shaped hole in the rock that a sling goes through nicely

The Guide book suggests that this climb is a HS 4b which is a good assessment especially as the rock is very smooth now. First 3/4's of the climb is really good, however about 3m below the tree area the crack and wall have been become completely smooth and surface mud has been washed onto the route.

My first trad lead climb! Lee did a stirling job of seconding. Removed all gear except one nut below the crux which I abseiled down to and retrieved.

Mission acomplished -practised placing gear for first lead with Lee. Abseiled first then used rope for backup with shunt. Used 10 pieces of gear.Mostly small and medium wires.1 thread and 1 spike. 1 big hex. 1 wire pulled loose on ascent. Another when taking in. Good straight rope line. Abseiled down to clean route. Most of gear came out too easily. Need to seat it tighter next time.
