Crencha Salenques/Agulles de Salanques in Spanish guides. NE Arete of peak, over superb spiky aiguilles, a Pyrenean classic, Grade IV/IV+ (V- in some guides). Bus to the top of the Esera road, then up the main valley past the Trou de Toro, then fork right up the Val des Barrancs to the Col de Sallenches, where the route starts. Follow the easiest line up the arete, dodging or climbing pinnacles according to taste. Some easy airy sections but at least 4 pitches of IV or higher, more if you take in all the pinnacles.
