UKC

This follows the true line of the gill direct at all points. The main challenges are the two big waterfall pitches and the awkward chute / open cave type system near the end. This may prove tougher than Hard Severe, even in dry conditions.

Traditional.

βeta: There's a fun walk in cave at the top of the final steepening on the right. Water flows out of it even in dryish conditions. Take a headtorch and helmet, and you can get as far as a small waterfall on the left. Cave is called bouther gill cave

βeta: Holds to right of main waterfall are loose and can break off when loaded- beware. [large head sized rock came away with a test tappy-tap. It fell past my shoulder down the fall]
