Winter Route >>
|150m. The gully is dominated by a magnificent pillar of ice at the big overhang. The initial 80m will normally give straightforward climbing on snow and ice. The ice pillar is climbed direct. A second difficult pitch may be presented by the final slab if it is covered by unconsolidated snow. |

Approached from the north, 2hrs 30 to route. Excellent condition, bit of everything- steep ice pillar, mixed, snow etc. Red chimney and others look to be in good nick too. Careful route choice reqd on approach and return with current snow conditions
