steve_gibbs - Lead O/S - 22/Feb/14 with George Frisby

no chalk bag getting dark as we topped out
climber darlo - AltLd O/S - 23/Jan/14 with bronwyn jones

James Jackson - 2014

Really nice first pitch, nice moves, position and no polish - amazing for the Gorge! Shame about the top out. Not much in the way of gear so not one to push your grade on.
Bobling - Lead - 31/May/13 with Sarah, Dave L

BALD EAGLE - 2nd - 31/May/13 with Sarah Flint, Rob Duerr

jayyaj - Lead - 21/Apr/13 with Mike Unwin

Mayaculpa - 2nd - 21/Apr/13 with Jason

Warmed up from biting cold to just cold. A good climb, better than Stranded
Mayaculpa - 2nd - 25/Mar/13 with Peter

Good climbing, not a lot of gear but reasonable if you're confident at the grade (soft 4a?). Easier and better than Stranded.

rg1976 - 2nd O/S - 25/Jul/12 with squicky

Great route! Plenty of varied climbing. Just a shame there is no way to protect any of it. Went around the corner early and directly up from second belay which were both more strenuous alternatives.
squicky - Lead O/S - 25/Jul/12 with rg1976

George Frisby - 2nd O/S - 25/Jun/12 with Chris

Took the direct line straight up the nose of the buttress from the belay stance to come out left of the wire netting. Excellent rock, abysmal protection.
stafford101 - Lead rpt - 25/Jun/12 with George Frisby

again, not as good as I remember. Doing it barefoot might have something to do with it. Painful walk back to bags. Very dark when we finally got to the top, but worthwhile with the view of the SSB lit up.
Stanners - 2nd rpt - 10/Mar/12 with James Rich, Jack Bradbrook

Practically soloed it because I only bothered with one (slightly dubious) sling round a spike for protection on the whole route as it was getting dark. Pretty easy for s I thought.
JamesRich - Lead O/S - 10/Mar/12 with Rob stanfield, Jack Bradbrook

Couldn't see much, climbing in the dark with Converse.
Quarryboy - 2nd rpt - 10/Mar/12 with JamesRich, Rob Stanfield

LouiseP - 2nd O/S - 16/Jan/12 with Rob

Warm in the sun, Lovely afternoon for January... Rope drag a bit of an issue at the moment due to ivy on the very top of the buttress by the top out
R_W_M - Lead rpt - 16/Jan/12 with LouiseP

AielSavage - AltLd - 06/Nov/11

Elliot Carrington - AltLd O/S - 06/Nov/11 with Andy

Very vegetated, done in darkness.
stafford101 - 2nd O/S - 26/Oct/11 with Charlie

Very vegetated and runout. Horrific rope drag when two pitches are linked. Climbed in the dark. Not recommended.
cbeard - Lead O/S - 26/Oct/11 with Chris Stafford

Slick - AltLd - 16/Jun/11 with Kevin Vans-Colina

Dave Ing - Solo O/S - 11/Jun/11

kelliroberts3 - AltLd O/S - 21/Apr/11 with Peter Rigby

Some good climbing, can be made more interesting as required. Over vegetated in places.
TDembrey - AltLd O/S - 13/Sep/10 with Clay

Moving together
Clay C - AltLd O/S - 13/Sep/10 with Todd

Quite bold for severe relay exposed good climbing though on the second pitch
Quarryboy - Lead O/S - 28/Aug/10 with Rob Stanfield, David Bradbrook

Vegetation at the top is really annoying, otherwise brilliant.
Stanners - 2nd O/S - 28/Jul/10

Matt Smyth - 2nd O/S - 26/Jun/10 with Olly Pirkis

Lead pitch 2. Large audience at the top! Not a great climb, too broken, vegetated and chossy.
mullermn - AltLd O/S - 05/Apr/10 with Kylie Richards

I lead the first pitch
Kylie - AltLd O/S - 04/Apr/10 with mullermn

Tomar - Lead O/S - 10/Mar/10 with "Brosky"

Hidden - AltLd O/S - 2010

Followed on from Stranded. Dan 1st Me 2nd. Would be a half decent route if it weren't for the prolific vegitation and netting. Like Stranded, both pitches have a hard enough crux to warrant a 4a, but the rest is mundane. Head for the telescope by keeping left at the top.

Good but but sparse gear some tricky move but lovely views
bsavage - AltLd O/S - 15/Feb/09 with Richard Craddock

Pete Rigby - AltLd - 2009

Hidden - 2nd O/S - 05/Jun/08

Worryingly sparse gear but in contrast to some other notes here I found some really nice climbing, particularly on the first pitch. The first belay ledge is lovely too. Very overgrown at the top though with a worrying runout.

Overgrown in places and difficult to pick the route.
deanster01 - Lead O/S - 12/Aug/06 with Laurie Neale

Got a bit stuck on the first pitch (lead), running into a blank wall with pro about 4m below. Eventually traversed (probably back onto the route!) and set up a hanging from a tree. Andy lead through to the top. Some dodgy rock in places.
Tempest - AltLd - Aug/06 with AndyM

Hidden - 2nd O/S - 07/Jun/06

cragdan - Lead O/S - 30/Apr/06 with jamie

Really not worth the effort. Rambling, overgrown, and without interest.

Went off route I think
