This climb felt awkward all the way through the hardest section just as you move right, which felt very tenuous. Still, made it through and it eases off from there to the top.

I think VS 5a: the hard moves at the peg are shortlived and just need working out. You can get reasonable protection in apart from the peg.

Couldn't really figure out the move past the peg. Seemed incredibly hard for 5a and I hardly think a rusty sea peg constitutes "well protected". Only other gear is a dodgy cam or nut placement. If this is a VS then Gaucho is definitely a VS too... Ended up doing an airy traverse right at the crux and then traversing back left subsequently.

Didn't enjoy this at all. Thuggish at the bottom, poorly protected at the crux, loose at the top.

Er, climbed it the same day, and thought that it was really good. Peg is rubbish, but there is an excellent small nut placement just next to it! Thuggish start?! You can't have been climbing it properly!
