Wall of Flame*** E4 6a
[Vertical chess, 3 kb]70m, 2 pitches. Bloody amazing slab climbing right of Northumberland Wall, weaving right along a seam, straight up on better holds to easier ground before a bold minimalist crux back left to join NW unto the belay ledge. P2 takes the boundary of black and white rock to join NW at the break. Take the usual micro-gear.

7m lob off the top. safe but scary. wasn't sure where to go and latter/smc guides differ slightly. the route is noticeably close to black streak.

Incredible climbing, fell at the upper crux after standing on a small crimp for too long trying to decide the way and getting very sore toes and calves. Got the superb crux after changing my sequence a little and not spending so long on the 'ledge' of contemplation. Some great bold climbing with good small gear in between.
