Rockfax Description
14m. A great climb, always clean and usually dry, up the right-hand edge of the front face. Climb to the bulges then head up the crack on the left to pass these and gain the slabbier front face of the buttress, right of the bounding rib. Finish direct. © Rockfax

Poor warm up choice - needed a brush in the crack/break so took a rest and cleaned. Top section sandy from recent rain so brushed as i went. It looked like it needed an abseil, but i'd seen it had been climbed recently, never mind. Lovely position.

As mentioned previously the transition from strenuous crack to delicate slab is excellent.

Great climbing, relatively easy moves but a combination of cold fingers, wrong gear and hangover made for a gripping voyage. I moved up and slightly right from the top of the crack to gear then back left across the slab. The slab direct is clearly possible and looks good but too bold today.

Probably with a bit of a tight rope in places, felt hard in borrowed shoes.

Wow. This is a well cool climb. Proper strung out moves on the slab across to the arete and up. Real nice!

Fantastic combination of styles, really enjoyable climbing, great setting, and pretty safe.

A great route, the transition from strenuous crack to delicate slab is killer. The route needs a good brushing down, as it was a bit dirty at the top.

Shockingly bad. Got pumped somehow. A rest turned into a gear pull, into more rest. A good, hearty dogging session ensued. Must go back and do it clean!
