Birds: Beware of, and avoid, angry Herring gulls nesting on common exit to Airegin, Ostrichism etc. nest can easily be checked from the crag top (28 May 2016). May be a one-off nest, maybe not, please be considerate to the nesting birds and also be aware bird spotters regularly frequent the area.
Nest was there in 2019 as well, and another one at the top of the Aiguille. Both avoidable with care.

The short north face of the Aiguille de Trou provides a bold and technical little pitch. Take the left edge of the little black groove to the overlap and Crucial RP above. Climb directly up the fine golden wall to a step left at the top.
