UKC

220m, 7 pitches.

Rockfax Description
A short but interesting route which, with the exception of the crux, offers consistent grade V climbing on great rock. The crux corner on the second pitch can be aided at V A0 if required.
Start to the left of a low roof, below a vague corner, directly below a peg above.
1) V-, 25m. Climb direct then step right above the roof to belay below a second roof on the right.
2) VII, 40m. Move left and climb direct to enter the overhanging corner above. Climb this strenuously to exit onto a ledge.
3) V+, 25m. Climb a crack on the left then continue direct before moving back right to scale a short corner. Belay above this.
4) V, 25m. Ignore the continuation corner above and move right. Climb direct, up well-featured rock, to reach the large dividing ledge. It is possible to exit left here, joining the descent.
5) V+, 30m. Climb the large corner above to exit right to a stance.
6) V, 25m. Continue trending right to reach easier ground below the summit.
7) II, 50m. Move easily along the large ledge to reach a cairn and the end of the route. © Rockfax
