put a small cam at the bottom of the climb as a redirect for the rope - keeping rope tight to the wall. belayed a climber in the past and he took a fall. luckily his last piece of protection held, but everything else popped (very scary). He down climbed after that.So wasn't taking any chances in case i fell.
