ice was good where present. a lot of loose unconsolidated snow and the turf not well frozen due to snow insulation. water running under the ice and hollow sections present throughout. upper gully much better with some neve.

Climbed as a 4, Graeme & Sam made it over the crux pitch, but then we all had to back off. Ice good in places but a bit thin in others and fairly fragile. Good route, will be back!

Lee was good enough to allow me to climb the odd numbered pitches. Although the ice was a bitt cruddy and the climb could do with some more consolidation, it was an excellent day out with only one other group from Aberdeen Uni in the Corrie on B Gully (thank you for breaking trainl).
