Scrambled up P1, lead P2 & P3. Fun climbing with very little polish.
Tom F Harding - Lead O/S - 30/Jul/14 with Steve Bartle
An interesting climb! Started from about 5 metres below the second belay, scrambling most of the first pitch in the book. So first roped pitch was OK not a strong line but nice rock, shame the slab above the overhang does not have any gear as it looks lovely but the coward in me made me slope up the leftwards trending ledges to gear. Second pitch was delightful, very nice climbing on good rock with no polish. Worth the palaver of the first pitch to get to the second!

One for the Avon veterans. Probably an acquired taste. I led the top pitch which was quite enjoyable.

Floating snow in the air. Damn cold.
Nice easy route. Split into 2 pitches.

really good, unpolished climbing on the second and third pitch. i thought the second pitch was hard for HS and very hard for 4a. possibly no single move deserves 4b, but the climbing is quite constant. very reasonable gear if you have some small wires.

Warm up of the day, bold but not in a bad way, meant you could just get on with the climbing. :) solo 1, Monkey 2, Me lead 3

Nice climbing. Quite a bold tricky section on pitch 2. Only the vaguest hint of the polish mentioned in the guide - I can only think the author is confused with another route.

Did in 2 pitches via Piton Route stance 2 somehow. I bottled out of leading the top of PR (too early in season!) and traversed left back onto the route. A great outing! It was raining all around us but not in the gorge until we finished :)

Started higher than the guidebook said, so did it in 2 pitches. Jamie led the 1st half, I led the 2nd. Gear quite sparse in places but a nice climb. Hardly any polish.

Did it in 3 pitches all of which I led as James wasn't so keen due to the routes reputation for being bold and having dubious belays. Nice climbing but recommend acquiring some Avon gore style route finding and belay building skills before doing it.

1st pitch scrambled to ledge below official start of 2nd pitch, 2nd Pitch (Dan) nice grippy rock with a couple of tricky moves. Crux is traverse after the spike. Comms very difficult due to road noise. 3rd Pitch (Me) technically easier but rock not as sticky and a bit polished in places. Nice climb, but can someone please take a pair of secateurs up to deal with that fiesty little Hawthorn bush on the 2nd pitch
