Awesome little groove! much more enjoyable than it seems from below, don't forget a large piece to protect the crack near the top, or run out if you forgot it...

Thoroughly enjoyable, apart from the wrestle with the belay station in the rain.

I admit I was wrong about the quality of the route. From the ground it looks sh!t but the climbing is actually surprisingly pleasant :)

Stanners 01/Jun/11 Lead O/S

surprisingly decent climb with lots of cam opportunities!

Note at the bottom warns of "Danger!" - looks like a chunk has fallen off the top at some stage but seemed reasonably solid still.

Lovely climb. Tricky start, muddy at top! Gear ok. Used all four cams - mine and Kate's!

Very enjoyable climb - great views over the gorge... good rock, with one minor exception of a loose one near the top... decent protection - recommended!!

Ironically, after experiencing brass monkey issues on Humerus, the temperature had crept up a few degrees, suddenly the appeal of Cheddar became apparent; fantastic location, amazing views, top quality unpolished (!) limestone. Cheddar is fantastic. The only downside was the biggest dog turd you've ever seen, laid there exactly at the foot of the route. I had to jump down from about 2 metres before progressing, and was so concerned about shit-avoidance that I damn near went over the edge. As it was I stumbled on landing and ended up with my face inches from the pile of dung. Needless to say, Jordan was first to see the funny side, by a considerable margin.

Seem to remember a nasty large piece of rock that looked like it would shortly peel off.
