Despite several dry days the first half of the climb was very wet, this made for a few nervy moments and detracted from the quality of the route. Good positions but overall a bit underwhelming. I agree with the comments on crampon scratches, a great pity but I wonder if it gets more winter than summer ascents. It had a neglected feel, understandable considering the grass and seepage. What a superb route, well worth the long approach. First pitch was very wet, but the friction was still good. Some crampon scratches, it would be a great pity if this were to spoil the route (cf Engineers' Slab, Great Gable).

Top pitch getting trashed by winter climbing, front point groove 1" in from edge on slot section. Much erosion on holds in the vicinity.

An exciting climb, even the scramble approach was interesting. The first pitch was wet and slimy making it pretty scary. I didn't get a runner in for ages and when i finally did it just popped straight out. The miniscule semi-hanging belay ledge is incredibly out-there. Feels like your 1500ft off the deck with nothing below you. Pitch 2 is amazing, incredible position, good moves on steep rock and tons of great gear. Very exciting climb with some serious atmosphere and exposure. Glad we didn't have an epic!

Great little route. Bit wet to start. Lead second pitch. Good exposed positions! Abbed in and traversed grass ledge. Wet scramble up grass not appealing!

Lost it on this route, wanted to stay lying on the ledge! Very exposed, was a nice route but lost my nerve after a long day.
