Rockfax Description
A pleasant route with a sting in its tail.
1) 25m. Start as for Rowan Tree Slabs. Climb the slab direct just to the right of the first pitch of Faith to a terrace. Move down and right to belay. If dry, climb the corner direct at 4a.
2) 5a, 23m. Go up right to the base of the tower. Climb the crack on the left to a big step right to gain the edge of the tower. Make a long reach to gain the groove and crack on the right which leads up to the 'Penthouse'. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
A worthwhile pitch up a prominent tower below Rowan Tree Slabs. Best done as top pitch only. Climb a slabby corner to the left of the tower until a sloping ledge in the arete allows a stride into a groove on the front face where good holds lead boldly to the Penthouse.
