P1,3,4/5. Three tops and a jacket, two pairs of trousers, hat, balaclava, scarf, gloves, socks under my climbing shoes and trainers to wear at the belays; and it was still colder than Calshot.
Ed Babs - AltLd O/S - 14/Mar/13 with AlexD

only led pitch 2, Ed did the rest! perfect day, cold on the hands but bearable. lots of crows! awesome.

Good route. Max cycled to the crag. Shonky pegtastic.
eddy-on-the-rocks - AltLd O/S - 15/Oct/11 with max

All rather steep.
Tim Sparrow - AltLd - 15/Oct/11 with Ned

Did the first 3 pitches (all clean) then abbed off. Various excuses made - mostly lack of light and a tired Mike! Will be back to finish off when I get the chance. P3 felt hard.
Somerset swede basher - AltLd dnf - 06/Nov/10 with Mike Kann

Awesome. Pitch 1 bolder than it looks with a bit of dodgy rock, pitch 2 is a dordle then the fun starts. Good quality rock, exposed and steep and topping out into warm winter sunshine. The crow indeed lives on!!
billb - 24/Oct/10

possibly the slowest ascent ever - 7 hours up and down. had a little hang on the last easy pitch

Don’t believe the guide. The age of the crow lives on. A 3 star classic the route is in good condition and not over vegetated. Led all the pitches, joined 4/5 together. Most of the pegs are poor but can be backed up. Take care on belays use high runners for back up. Get on it; easy for the grade.
Marti999 - Lead O/S - 07/Nov/07 with Tom Thorp

I lead the first pitch, but found the route rather intimidating, so Stu led the rest
Mark Kemball - 2nd O/S - 03/Nov/07 with Stu Bradbury

Hidden - AltLd O/S - Sep/06

Much gardening en route. Pitch 3 was nails.
Chubbard - AltLd dog - 22/Jan/06 with C Godfrey

Clean ascent apart from slipping off seconding the last 5a pitch. Wasn't unreasonably vegetated. Lead P1 + P3. P3 is not 6a (but isn't 5b(!) neither) if you climb the vegetation up and left of the belay, but the bulge above was a bit urgent.
