Nice easy climb, but loose
Tiff's first lead
|Tiff Vaggas||15/Mar||Lead O/S|
To retrieve rope left previous night. Repositioned rope and ab'd off. Rope successfully retrieved this time.
Lovely summer evening climbing with Harry . Ab'd off top, rope stuck and couldn't retrieve in the dark.

Very easy, nice.
Best climb on the Orthanc pinnacle. Strong line. Nice climbing, and very little loose rock - unlike the climbs finishing on the front of the tower.

Lucy led this in good style. One of the better low grade routes at goblin coombe.

|Nathan Chrismas||06/Oct/13||Lead O/S|
Great climb with lots of gear. Good belay at the top. Almost killed partner with a loose bit of rock on the absail!
|Stuart William||02/Jul/13||Solo rpt|
Nice climb, though felt sustained however probably due to being 4oC!
|ali macphee||27/Nov/11||Lead dnf|
much easier than it looks and well protected although some of the gear is fiddly. Mid grade VDiff. Not unusually loose - for limestone mostly solid and very few / no really worrying blocks although I didn't put gear behind some blocks just in case they parted company with the cliff. The actual line low down is feet a bit to the right of the crack. I think this would be a 2-3 star classic if the first half wasn't so escapable. Still very good climbing for VDiff. Easily worth 1 star.
Nice route for a VDiff....... second followed up in big boots.

In walking boots. Nice climbing.
great route for a VD. Well done with the lead mart.
Excellent hidden gem! Seriously this route is great. From the bottom it looks hard but when your on it its just jugs galore.

Straight forward VD. loads of gear. Watch out for chose. Descent but gully to right with absail as very dusty underfoot. loose rock dislodge caution needed on descent.
tons of pro, good for a first lead

Enjoyable climb with plenty of options for practicing gear placement. Suggest ab'ing off tree down descent gulley for easy rope retrieval.
First lead outdoors! Took it steady and got there. Harder scrambling down..!
|Poco Loco||22/Mar/09||Lead O/S||
Fairly sustained for VDiff, but the holds are all in the right places. Couple of loose blocks in upper part.
With Bruce, loose rock, horrible
|roc n run||27/Jul/08||Lead O/S||
Quite bold for a V.Diff

Simon Brown, Jamie O'Hare
Loose rock near top. Nasty down climb.
