78m, 2 pitches. Llechog's Western Buttress is split by Central Gully (the best descent for all climbs on the cliff). Black Rib lies just to the left of this as you look at the cliff and takes, as the name suggests, a rib of dark rock which is seen from the right of the route. The grade, and the steep but friendly nature of the rock, make this a pleasant final route of the day, or a good one to try alpine-style before heading off up Snowdon.

Pitch one (45 metres, 150 feet): climb the rib to belay in a large bay. There are plenty of other potential stances if you're climbing alpine-style and wish to split the pitch.

Pitch two (33 metres, 110 feet): Central Gully is to the right, and from it rise three ribs. Climb the one furthest to the right, staring from a small recess before moving to the edge, which is followed to the top. Variations are also possible at the same grade.
