Rockfax Description
(The Vegetarian) The centre of the front side of The Goat has a prominent overgrown groove. It is seldom (if ever) climbed.
1) N5/A1, 40m. From the base of the corner, climb out right on aid to a groove, then diagonally back left into the main corner. Go up this before moving out right and up to a stance.
2) N4/A1, 35m. Climb the main groove, then move out right on aid past a small roof. Step left again into the corner, and climb up a slab on the right to a stance.
3) N5-, 35m. Climb a crack, then head left up a ramp to the top of the main corner. Step around another roof, then traverse left, and belay above a short chimney.
4) and 5) N5+, 50m. Scramble up to the right-hand end of Sofen. Finish up the 'West Wall Finish' of Forsida. © Rockfax

FA. The story goes that two Scottish climbers made the first ascent, in extremely bad weather, in the mid 1970s 15/Jun/1975.
