A wide sheet of ice flows down to the lowest point of the cliff. Approx. 10 mtrs of steep (up to 80 degrees) ice leads to a ledge and then a further 15 mtrs of easier angled ice leads to the top.

Tried to lead it first, but the ice was thin and hollow, so backed down

Tried leading, backed off. Ice too thin. Toni found enough for a screw a bit to the left of normal line. Good lead - still very thin on the ledge.

Good and steep, nice ice on the upper half after the previous week's thaw.

-20, arrived on ledge with fingers numb to the second knuckles. Horrible hot aches resulted but a decent lead on thin ice nevertheless.
