Turf frozen from about 950m. Loose & wet rock low down so followed the patches of iron hard snow. Last 200m much more wintery with rime & ice.

Hard work through soft snow getting to base of climb. Great route though topped out in a complete whiteout and let go of the map... headed north and never felt better than meeting a skier!

took a steeper line up the middle of the buttress and got a little scared and abbed off insitu gear. Not my best day!

A bit thin in places, but lots of variation possible, so took some steeper ice pitches and steep mixed ground. Very windy, prob. gusting 50-60mph!
