A cunning line up impressive ground. Four interesting pitches each with a different character. On pitch three: the traverse right on the large ledges to access the v groove features a marked and awkward step down as you cross under the fall line of a steep crack corner (which is not climbed).

βeta: 1. 15m. Start 15m right of Darth Vader and climb a steep right-facing corner to a ledge. 2. 20m. Move up and right to a steep corner. Climb this then move right and up to a good stance below the continuation corner. 3. 20m. Climb the right of two grooves to reach a good ledge with a spike on the left. Climb the steep wall above and exit on to a narrow ledge. Move up and right across the impending right wall to reach a large ledge system. 4. 30m. Move right 5m and enter a V-slot. Climb this and continue up the contorted chimney-crack above to exit left on to a sloping square ledge. 5. 25m. Climb the overhanging chimney-crack directly behind the belay to reach where the ground eases. Continue easily up snow to the cornice. | ||
