I'm gonna go right out and upgrade this to E1/5b because that's what it is. So what if the hard moves are confined to 5m and the top if a VD romp? Fall off at the top of those 5m - the mostly likely point - and you'll really regret it. Definately a grade harder than Nude Groove.
The gear really isn't very impressive. You'll get a nut 1 in low down in the crack and a dodgy nut 2 2/3 of the way up, which will take your weight just, but don't fall on it whatever you do. Fortunately, I kicked it out whilst moving up, so had no choice!
Quite enjoyed the moves though. Nice route. For an E1. :) ebf - Lead O/S - 29/Jan/12 with Tibor Barnoczki, Paul Hermes

Not as pleasent a climb as Nude Groove on the right. Awkard move to step up into the groove but then the difficulties are pretty much over. Definitley worth carrying some micros for this, else the lower 8m are pretty much unprotectable without placing side-runners. lrandall - Lead O/S - 30/Jan/10 with Andy B, Andy C
