Lead in one pitch. Unable to find suitable anchors to create multipitch unless done just after the zawn. Had a long rope, so went for it. Again crumbly rock towards the top and heavy vegetation meant protection placing was v. hard, with rocks disloging when weight-bearing. Scary as hell due to wind and rock conditions.

Awesome route. Led pitch 1 - Spent ages psyching up to do the start. Really mind-blowing moves at the start, crazy terrain where nothing is vertical. First peg is long gone, second peg is in pretty shabby condition, so went a bit off route to find a belay, and traversed quite a long way right to a good ledge.

After falling across the zawn managed to step across then bridge back to the starting side - not quite as bad as anticpated. Set up a rope running down to the top of the climb from the first stake to use as a belay. Advisable as the top of the climb really unsafe and broken and the grass very steep up to the stake. Great, hot summer day but very few climbers - they probably all think the bird ban lasts until July tee hee!
