The Girdle* E1 5b
21m. Start up Black Wall. At the obvious thread runner, commence traversing left, slightly rising, along the obvious line at two thirds height.

Taking a belay in the upper crack of the overhang reduces rope drag. Possible to pre place hanging slings from belay stake on top of crag if needed.

Continue below the prominent nose on the arete, then across the smooth wall of piton direct, crux. Continue traversing left to finish up the easy, or on round the scrappy left end of the crag.

Real good fun! Clipped a stake runner below the aretenose due to pumping myself out for God knows how long on a 3 finger pocket and polished bulge while trying to 'will' a nut and runner in. Baked potato then kicked in and climbed out of the Groundhog day. Seconds after finishing with Jason still on hanging belay it pissed it down, forcing with regret him to retreat. Both will complete next time!

Set up hanging belay on the handjam and rob led though. VS 4c up to this point and rather very nice. Then bailed off in the rain. ROB!!! Get me a fucking ab line!! Lol good fun. Will have to do it again.
