Jon took the lead but whent the wrong way so retreated. I lead on his rope. May have gone the wrong way as felt much harder than Diff.

There is no way this was a Diff. I had to rescue Jon because he got stuck going the wrong way and couldn't make the big move back onto route. I couldn't get high enough really but managed to get on a ledge across from him with the only anchor I could and did use was wrapping my rope round a massive rock. Then I lowered him enough to clamber off. First rescue! Afterwards Paul finished the lead and I seconded, bottom half maybe VDiff but top half definitely Severe. Not many useful holds.
