I was getting restless so I decided to do it on my own. I attempted to daisy solo but the gear is two crap so I believe I got the first solo ascent. I brought a rope up but was sceptical about abbin off that shitty piece of tat on the top so I have left a new one which will no doubt be destroyed soon!

Swam out in 5mm wetsuit, lots of bird poo, dead fish and loose rock! Jumped off the top at high tide :)

Top notch adventure and position, sub-par rock and lots of old gear and tat that really shouldn't be trusted, can you say sea corrosion?

Great fun, especially the simul abseil descent.

A most entertaining and esoteric outing, which is much more fun with a simu-abseil to descend! http://youtu.be/r3pRHHWKBsU

A great rubbish climb! Found the HS route harder.

Gear isn't great low down. Moves are fine but you don't want to fall off! To answer the Q by tomweeler below, I think the normal route goes left to the 'scoop' then up and back R to the notch. There does appear to be a steeper crack that stays further R with an old wire wedged in it. Looks harder but safer.

Agreed about the seagull shit. Great climb though. Does anyone know about the distinction between the 2 crack-line routes? Which one is which? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEwEUSlOMx0
