got past the hard bits and up to where you rock onto the slab but it was just too dirty, want to go back and clean it then do it, good moves lower down

Above pads... 6c at most. High but not hard. Had to hang one handed to pull Lichen and sand out of the break.

We had no pads with us so went old school. I got it first go and pretty much onsight (no testing of holds or checking of gear) but I had to abseil first to clean the slab above the difficulties and the holds on the lip as the slab was massively lichenous and the lip holds were green and scrittly. Turns out the cam I used may not have been the best size for the slot so I'm glad I nailed it! Tom downclimbed from the lip twice and drop-tested the cam (that fitted better) both times and it ripped on the second drop. A bouldering grade of V5/Font 6c would be more realistic as it's high and scary rather than hard.
